Painting bases

A reminder for myself how I paint my bases. I got the slate bases from Back-to-Base-ix, found here: http://stores.shop.ebay.nl/Back-to-Base-ix__W0QQ_armrsZ1

Basecoat black. Then Neutral Grey coat, highlighted with Medium Sea Grey. Finished with a black wash.

I think I will give it another highlight to make the slate stand out better.

Restarting Templars

A log over at Relicnews inspired me to start again with my Black Templars. The thread is found here: http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?p=3715670

Meaning I ordered pre-cast bases from Back-to-Base-ix, scouts (neophytes) and assault terminators. They will be the first new addition to my army since a long time. Looking forward to it!
